up north

look what i found washed up on the beach at sembawang.
it's huge!
wonder if it got caught or just forgot to glide back into the sea when the tides started receding.
then some kids came and started poking it with sticks.
not very nice.

talking about sembawang, i love the colonial houses there!
no wait, i love colonial houses (and shophouses), not necessarily there.
too bad, they're apparently only for rent.
which kinda explains why only expats live in 'em.
i donnow, i just love anything and everything steeped in history.
i'm an old soul that way.
