of births and pseudo-deaths

happy birthday to me!

yeah rite, i've got a test on sonar in one and a half hour's time.
bleargh...

birthday shout-outs to (in chronogical order):
eda!
wan lin!
andy!
naz!
vidya!

i'm sure there's more.
who am i missing out?

i've a theory as to why there's a record no of people having their birthdays in september.
haven't you noticed?
september's the only month where almost everyone's having a birthday?
kay here goes my theory:
babies get conceived when their parents celebrate in dec.
get it?
nehmind.

having a headache.
will explain, if you ask me nicely.

it's been decided.
i'll be playing Bach's Invention No. 8 in F major and No. 14 in B flat major for my exams end of the month.
*shudder*

but before that i've gotta play Clementi's Sonatina Op. 36 No. 2 in front of the whole class on the 24th.
*can die*

*slurp*

oh man.
i have to stop eating like there's no tomorrow.

irwan & siti raudhah: wedding excerpts

my cousin got married last weekend!
i was somehow the unofficial photographer cos i am, afterall, a busybody.
my main job was actually to look after my frail nenek cos she was in a merajuk mood and refused to attend the reception.
the elders left me specfic instructions to accompany her, fetch food from the reception for her and make sure she doesn't run off to the nearest shop to get cigarettes.
but, since i was such a busybody, i kinda left her on her own to watch golf.
anyway enjoy the pics y'all (it's not very often that i put up pics in every post y'know)!

we were born a week apart and were super close when we were younger.
alas, we got caught up in life (and apparently finding a wife) and grew apart.
then and now:

soraya & shabirin: wedding excerpts

i've got wedding pics sans the bride and groom.
horrible rite?
wot to do, we came too late (thanks to a certain someone and mom), and they were about to leave.
but we did managed to get a professional pic taken with them.
they had the reception at the asian civlisation museum!
i never thought of having a reception there. i swear.
anyhoo, i've only got 3 relevant pics on my camera.

she says size doesn't matter. she's lying.

i finally had the six dollar burger.
kay wait .
*rewind*
i went to marina square for the first time in 10 years today.
they butchered the place so much, i did NOT recognise it (from the insides) at all.
it's so bizarre.
it's like the government's slowly erasing the past [read: national library, the old plaza singapura, etc].
what next? far east plaza? (nooooo! please noooo!!)
anyway, where was i?
YES! I finally had my much anticipated, much publicised, six dollar burger.
only, they don't call it the six dollar burger here.
why?
nevermind.

anyway, the burger is damn blardy huge lah ok.
good for those who've not eaten for a week.
yes, yes this glutton couldn't finish her food and had to bag it.
hmph.
the more i look at the sniggering star, the more i feel like smacking it.
time to starve.

question

i donnow if you've noticed, but y'know when you're on the road and you hear a siren (either emitting from a fire engine or ambulance), the siren will change key once it passes you?
it sorta changes from a major to a minor key.

why?

airhead

i am so sick of hearing and/or answering stupid, juvenile questions.
whoever said that there's no such thing as a stupid question is, well, wrong.
i'm tired of having to listen to (and expected to answer) the following similar questions:

i donnow if you can see, but whenever i'm asked these questions, i roll my eyes so far back i worry myself that my eyes will stay that way.
for the love of God, there are other things to ask me.
there are other things more important in this world than your stupid body.
besides, you already know the answers to your own stupid questions so stop asking for second, third and fourth opinions.
besides, my answers are always the same and soon, i'm gonna be tired of being diplomatic.
you do not want to know the real answer.
idiot!

i guess that explains why i prefer to be alone.
it gives me the freedom to do whatever i want, wherever, without having to worry if it's okay with another person.
it also gives me the freedom to, y'know, just not talk.
i also prefer spacing out when the conversation doesn't involve me, so don't suddenly throw me random questions when you're 'tired' of talking to other people and accuse me of not paying attention.
i've always been left on my own to do stuff, so i don't see why i've to suddenly 'think of other people'.

omg, i sound like a guy.
