animal behaviour

my hormones are driving me crazy at the moment.
i am actually lusting over robbie williams!
and it doesn't help that he's always popping up on tv channels.

they have proven that at certain times of the month, depending on which hormones are being secreted, a woman's taste in men will vary.
example, when you're highly fertile (read: ovulating) you'll start to fancy strong, healthy men. it doesn't matter if he's good-looking or not, as long as your (animalistic survival) instincts tell you that he's good enough for you to mate and er, procreate.

does this means then, that when you're following your heart, you're actually not?

nevermind.
i just wanna thank my oestrogens and progesterones for sending me mixed signals and making me very emotional.
every, single month.
:o)
hmph.

no special raya pics, but ...

my mom's jambu tree bore lotsa juicy jambus!
i refer to everything in the garden as my mom's cos i refuse to acknowledge anything to do with that jungle of hers.
but er, i still get to eat the erm, fruits of labour.

she's actually even started talking to her mango tree after years of not flowering and not bearing fruit, but after much 'persuasion', the mango tree is finally flowering(!).

celebratory quickie

an ex-classmate sealed a decade-long romance early this week.
i can so imagine hitting the 10-year mark myself.
we used to can't imagine ourselves with the same guy any longer than a year.
and look at you!
you've actually reached the 10-year mark and are the epitome of the traditional MG-AC union!

So, congratulations Janelyn and KM and here's to many more decades!

----- extra stuffs -----
the MG-AC unions are so rare nowadays.
we used to tell ourselves we'll never marry a non-AC boy.
HAHAH!
it's not like i didn't have my fair share of AC boys then.
but the boys from the gep were just too wussy (no offence to certain nicks, daryns, timothys, and lukes)
i didn't know how and why, but i only knew boys from the gep then. i think it's cos the cooler boys from the mainstream were just, er too cool.
yah lah wussy2 but in the end they're like super high-fliers now (read: surgeons, doctors, dentists, doctors, doctors, and more doctors).
padan muka.
i still keep in touch with them, but very sakit hati.
eee geram!
i've actually landed myself a Retarded Idiot.
that's what i used to call them when i see them on the streets. oh man i had so many mean names for the rafflesian family, really (apologies to my dad and Is. heehee).
padan muka to me.
but i've grown to overcome the 'hate' and lurved instead.
maybe i'll just continue my parents' tradition of a MG-RI union instead.
and may all my daughters go to MG and my sons, AC (unless you smart enough then u go RI k).

eid greetings!

kay kay before i have a breakdown,

here's wishing all my Hindu friends
Happy Deepavali!

Also,

Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri,
Maaf Zahir dan Batin!

to you, you and you!

we went to geylang with the attention of stopping and even attempt to wrestle through the bazaar to get some baju melayu.
but, as we drove past looking for parking (which was impossible!) we decided to just park illegally (like everyone else) and grabbed a mass-produced baju kurung from first lady, and left.
no choice lah.
besides, it was cheap(er), and less headache.
it was the fastest baju kurung purchase ever.
so don't start laughing if you see me with a baju kurung that everyone else has.
i actually have no mood to shop for anything. not even for shoes.
i'm still finishing up my assignments, journals and portfolios and have yet to start revising & practicing for the exams.
argh!
